THE STUDIO
Nohands is an independent design studio based in Lennox Head, Australia. For over 18 years, we have worked with businesses across Australia, helping them build, refine, and evolve their identity through thoughtful design. Our work spans brand identity, websites, packaging, and publications.
We partner with businesses at key moments of growth, aligning how they present with where they are heading. Our focus is simple. To create work that is clear, considered, and built to last.
APPROACH
Every project begins with understanding. Understanding the business, its context, and its direction. From there, design becomes a process of refinement. Removing noise and creating identity systems that feel natural, confident, and cohesive.
We are not driven by trend, but by alignment. The goal is to create work that feels right today and continues to feel right over time.
FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTION
Nohands is led by Barry Shackleton, who has worked in brand identity and design for nearly two decades. He founded the studio with a focus on long-term relationships, supporting businesses as they grow and evolve.
Baz leads creative direction across all projects, ensuring every outcome reflects the ambition of the client and the clarity of the studio.
